Admissions
Prospective pupils can join Manor House School at any point during the academic year.
As part of the school's admissions procedure, pupils spend two days at Manor House during which they sit an entrance examination.
The two-day visit also gives pupils a taste of school life and enables teachers to assess pupils' social and academic skills, to determine whether they are suited to a place at the school.
If the trial is successful, a place will be offered, subject to a satisfactory report from the child's current school (where relevant).
Parents will be asked to pay a £100 registration fee, along with a returnable deposit of £300 to secure each place. If a class is full, pupils may be offered a place on a waiting list.
Manor House welcomes applicants from a wide variety of backgrounds, regardless of race, gender, creed or disability.
Successful pupils are accepted into Manor House School because of their ability and determination to become an active member of the school community and to fulfil their potential, both academically and as an individual.
As a result, Manor House students leave the school as confident, well-educated and well-rounded individuals with excellent prospects ahead of them.
Special considerations
The school is committed to making reasonable adjustments to ensure that no disabled pupil or potential pupil is disadvantaged because of his or her disability. Parents are asked to complete a disability form at the time of application.
Pupils are required to move between classrooms, many of which are housed in separate and historic listed buildings of several storeys without lifts. This may create problems for pupils with impaired mobility.

Dietary requirements based on medical or religious grounds can be accommodated by the school. Queries can be directed to the Catering Manager.
