Manor House School prides itself on its close links with the local community.
The school's picturesque grounds make it the obvious home of Ashby Farmers' Market on the third Saturday of every month.
The school is regularly used as a venue for other local events and is an important location during Ashby’s annual Arts Festival. As well as housing festival exhibitions, the school has also played host to the festival's closing concert on the lawn.
The school is also used as a venue by Ashby History Society and for quiz nights and other events organised by the Friends of Ashby Museum. The school also works closely with St Helen's Church.
The school's pupils are encouraged to develop a sense of community responsibility that extends beyond the school gates. At Christmas time, children from the school's Pre-Prep classes help to spread festive cheer by staging a number of seasonal performances for Ashby’s older residents.
Visitors are always welcome at Manor House School. For anyone wishing to get married in a beautiful setting close to Ashby, the school's immaculate grounds and impressive location, in the shadow of Ashby Castle, make it the ideal venue for a wedding celebration.
