Directions from the North

Use the M1 until Junction 23A, filter onto the A42 (M42) to Birmingham. Follow the A42 until the Ashby exit (approximately 9 miles) the A511. Turn right and follow the signs for the town centre. Once in the town centre follow the road to the bottom of the hill to a pair of mini-roundabouts. Turn left here towards Measham and you will see the Loudoun Memorial in front of you. Take the left hand side road and then turn left into South Street. Continue up South Street until you reach a set of large gates on the right hand side of the road at the top of the street, immediately after the entrance to Ashby Castle. This is the entrance to the school car park.

Directions from the East

Take either the A512 or the A511 as appropriate and follow the signs to Ashby until the roundabout for the junction with the A42. Follow the signs for the town centre. Once in the town centre follow the road to the bottom of the hill to a mini-roundabout. Turn left here towards Measham and you will see the Loudoun Memorial in front of you. Take the left hand side road and then turn left into South Street. Continue up South Street until you reach a set of large gates on the right hand side of the road at the top of the street, immediately after the entrance to Ashby Castle. This is the entrance to the school car park.

Directions from the South

Use the M1 until Junction 22 and then take the A511 to Coalville and Ashby. Follow the signs to Ashby until the roundabout for the junction with the A42. Continue on straight and follow the signs for the town centre. Once in the town centre follow the road to the bottom of the hill to a mini-roundabout. Turn left here towards Measham and you will see the Loudoun Memorial in front of you. Take the left hand side road and then turn left into South Street. Continue up South Street until you reach a set of large gates on the right hand side of the road at the top of the street, immediately after the entrance to Ashby Castle. This is the entrance to the school car park.

Alternatively take the A42 until the junction with the B5006 Ashby/Measham road. At the bottom of the slip road turn left towards Ashby. Continue towards the town centre (approximately 2 miles) but once past the Royal Hotel look for the Loudoun Memorial slightly to the right. Turn right by the memorial into South Street. Continue up South Street until you reach a set of large gates on the right hand side of the road at the top of the street, immediately after the entrance to Ashby Castle. This is the entrance to the school car park.

Directions from the West

From Burton Upon Trent take the A511 towards Swadlincote and Ashby. At the junction with the Ashby bypass continue on straight rather than take the bypass (if you end up on the bypass follow the directions above). On entering the town turn right towards Measham at the roundabout next to Burton Road Primary School. At the T-junction with Market Street there are mini-roundabouts; turn right and then immediately left towards Measham, you will see the Loudoun Memorial in front of you. Take the left hand side road and then turn left into South Street. Continue up South Street until you reach a set of large gates on the right hand side of the road at the top of the street, immediately after the entrance to Ashby Castle. This is the entrance to the school car park.
