A puppet show that has been seen by children across Europe will come to Manor House School next week.
The acclaimed Professor Pop-Up Puppet Theatre will bring its innovative performance of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ to the school on Tuesday (16 June).
The performance will give pupils an insight into the world of puppetry and also tie in with their latest Science topic of plants.
Teacher Angela Taylor said: “The puppet theatre is a wonderful way of showing children a new kind of theatre and helping them to think about how things grow.
“The show is designed to be educational and thought-provoking.”
To find out more about how things grow, pupils have already visited a garden centre, chosen plants and filled their own tubs and window boxes.
Like Jack, pupils are also growing beans.
