School Celebrates 100 Per Cent Pass Rate at GCSE

Pupils and staff at Manor House School are celebrating a pass rate of 100 per cent in this year’s GCSE exams.
This included a string of top grades for pupil Jamie Brown, who picked up six As and one A*, along with two Bs.
Other high achievers included Guy Edlin who achieved three A*s and one A, as well as four Bs and a C.
In all, 82 per cent of pupils achieved five or more GCSE passes at grades A* to C.
Headteacher Mrs Anne Scrine said: “We are delighted with this year’s GCSE results which again show the hard work and determination of students at Manor House School.
“The school prides itself on teaching pupils in small classes and giving every one of them the attention and help they need to succeed. These results are testimony to the fact that our ethos is working.”
All pupils are planning to go on to Sixth Form or Further Education.
