Curry Night is on the Menu
News article submitted on 8th October 2009, 13:20

Curry lovers are being invited to Manor House School for a slap-up Indian meal – for just £10 a head.

The curry night will be run by Indian cookery expert Sabyta Mackay, whose children are pupils at Manor House School.

Her authentic, three-course, Indian menu will start with vegetable samosas, followed by a choice of three traditional dishes, including Aloo Gobi and Tarka Dahl.

The evening will end with a dessert of Indian fruit salad and ice cream.

Headteacher Ann Scrine said: “A curry night is a wonderful way for people to enjoy some fantastic Indian cuisine at a very reasonable price right on their doorsteps.

All proceeds from the event will go to Manor House School.

Tickets and menus are available from the School Office.

Soft drinks will be served but diners can bring a bottle.

The curry night will take place on Friday 30 October at 7.30pm.
