Where Are They Now?
News article submitted on 7th January 2010, 13:53

Manor House School is appealing to local people and former pupils for help to compile an up-to-date history of the school.

Staff and pupils at Manor House School particularly want to find out what happened to generations of past pupils – and to know where they are now.

Headteacher Ann Scrine said: “Thousands of pupils have passed through Manor House School but we know very little about where they are now and the successes they may have gone on to.

“We would love to hear from anyone who was a pupil here, or who knows of a former pupil who has gone on to great things. It will help us to put together a more complete history of the school for present and future pupils.”

Manor House School first opened its doors to pupils more than 50 years ago. Although now equipped to meet modern educational needs, the building still boasts many of the original features and fittings of a Victorian manor house.

Anyone with information about former pupils is urged to contact the school on 01530 412932 or to email enquiries@manorhouseashby.co.uk
