Snow Far, Snow Good
News article submitted on 14th January 2010, 14:16
Lessons have continued as usual for pupils at Manor House School - in spite of the snow.
The school has remained open throughout the recent spell of snow, ice and sub-zero temperatures.
Teachers and premises staff have worked hard to keep the school open, and to keep pupils safe - and happy - during the cold snap.
Deputy Headteacher Linda Wordsworth said: "Manor House School has stayed open throughout the wintry weather. If pupils are able to travel here safely, then we will be here to teach them.
"There have also been plenty of opportunities for pupils to play outside in the snow. While the white stuff can be a bit of a headache for grown-ups, it is great fun for children! Of course, playing in the snow is also great exercise."
