Look Out Lord Sugar - Manor House School has its own Young Apprentices

Look out Lord Sugar – pupils at Manor House School have been using their business brains to out-wit each other in an Apprentice-style challenge.
In a task based on popular TV show ‘The Apprentice’, pupils have been asked to come up with a new corporate image for one of Leicestershire’s favourite tourist attractions, Bradgate Park.
Two teams of GCSE Geography pupils spent a day at the park talking to visitors, looking at facilities and making a note of existing marketing materials.
Each team must now pitch its ideas for the re-branding of Bradgate Park to a panel of the school’s business experts, including Headteacher Ann Scrine.
Mrs Scrine said: “The pupils have been using their investigative, business and creative skills to come up with a new and effective corporate image for Bradgate Park.
“This challenge is also testing their team working skills, their leadership strengths and their ability to adhere to deadlines.”
As in ‘The Apprentice’, the losing team will be asked to identify one person who was responsible for the failure of the task.
But, instead of being fired, he or she will have to complete extra Geography schoolwork.
