Science at Manor House School

Science has proved to be a popular subject studied at Manor House School.

Pupils from Year 3 (M1) to Year 11(S5) are taught science in modern, well-equipped laboatories by subject specialist teachers.

Students enjoy and benefit from a 'hands on' approach. Practical work allows all children to investigate and learn about a fascinating range of topics which they encounter in their everyday lives. The science curriculum is enhanced by visits to external events such as 'The Big Bang' and 'Science Live!'.

Science Live Event

Examination students are well prepared for the rigours of GCSE, achieving outstanding grades which reflect the hard work they commit to the subject.  When students complete their GCSE studies they are prepared to start A'levels in all Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
